In order to raise the service standard and improve the service environment of the Retail Enterprises, promote honest management, reinforce intellectual property right protection, foster nation brands, lead normal development of the Retail Enterprises and increase competitiveness of the sector as a whole, the Ministry of Commerce initiates the Pilot Work on the Grading of the Retail Enterprises as from 2006.
Goal:
Endeavor to establish harmonious business and raise management standard, gradually guide the healthy development of the retail enterprises and the orderly entrance of investment.
Promulgate the state of development and staff of the retail enterprises and gradually establish investment guidance.
Reinforce the research on development layout of the retail enterprises and bring forward the policies that work for promoting structure adjustment of the retail sector.
Try to establish the promotion system for the sound development of the retail sector within five years, with Grading of the Retail Enterprises.
